Recipe Authenticity: By submitting a recipe as an "heirloom" or "family" recipe, you represent that it has been passed down through your family or community tradition.
Removal: We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate.
The Culeana platform, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Culeana Inc. and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or software without our permission.
Participation in recipe competitions is subject to specific rules published for each competition.
By entering a competition, you agree to abide by the competition rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final.
Prizes, if any, are awarded as described in the competition rules. Taxes and other fees are the responsibility of the winner.
We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that violates competition rules or these Terms of Service.
Submitting a recipe to a competition grants us the right to feature your recipe and story in promotional materials.
The Culeana Marketplace connects users with third-party sellers of artisan ingredients. Culeana is not the seller of these products.
All transactions are between you and the third-party seller. Culeana is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of marketplace items.
Prices, availability, and shipping terms are determined by individual sellers.
Disputes regarding marketplace purchases should be resolved directly with the seller, though we may assist in mediation.
You may not use Culeana for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
You may not submit content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that promotes violence or discrimination.
You may not impersonate others, misrepresent your identity, or submit false information.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with the proper functioning of our platform.
You may not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access our service without our express written permission.
You may not collect or harvest user information without consent.

Recipe content is user-generated. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or nutritional information of any recipe.
Food Safety: Users are responsible for proper food handling and preparation. Consult professionals for dietary restrictions or allergies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Culeana shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, to Culeana in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Culeana shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision.
